United States Oil and Gas New Activity GIS Data
The "New Activity" data set is intended to provide timely information on new oil and gas permitting, drilling and projects that may provide significant production potential in the near future. This data, which is not contained in our fields or reservoir data sets provides status, location, operator(s) and related data attributes.

Availability - Data will be delivered by geographic region, beginning with the Gulf of Mexico in August of 2007. Subscribers may choose to license specific geographic regions or the entire U.S. data set. Beginning in 2008, updates of the GIS products will start to be released quarterly in conjunction with updates to the Nehring Associates database.

Data Delivery - Data can be provided in a number of digital formats, including ESRI shapefile, coverage, geodatabase.
