United States Oil and Gas Field GIS Outline Data
Field outlines which are developed by Digital Petrodata for the eight major geographic regions in the United States typically contain the following data attributes for analysis and mapping purposes;

Agency & EIA field codes Field name Field area and well count Field discovery year

Cumulative oil and gas production Field Type (oil or gas) Water depth (off-shore)

Companies who also subscribe to Nehring Associates (NRG) Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database will benefit from the in-depth data attributes which can easily be joined to the field outlines.

Availability - Subscribers may choose to license specific geographic regions or the entire U.S. data set. Beginning in 2009, updates of the GIS products will start to be released annually in conjunction with updates to the (NRG) Nehring Associates database.

Data Delivery - Data can be provided in a number of digital formats, including ESRI shapefile, coverage, geodatabase.
