United States Oil and Gas Reservoir GIS Outline Data
Reservoir outlines which are developed by Digital Petrodata for the eight major geographic regions in the United States typically contain the following data attributes for analysis and mapping purposes;

Agency reservoir code Play code Reservoir area and well count Reservoir type (oil or gas)

Stratigraphic age Cumulative reservoir oil and gas production Average reservoir true vertical depth

Companies who also subscribe to Nehring Associates (NRG) Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database will benefit from the in-depth data attributes which can easily be joined to the reservoir outlines.

Availability - Data will be delivered by geographic region, beginning with the Gulf of Mexico in August of 2007. Subscribers may choose to license specific geographic regions or the entire U.S. data set. Beginning in 2008, updates of the GIS products will start to be released annually in conjunction with updates to the (NRG) Nehring Associates database.

Data Delivery - Data can be provided in a number of digital formats, including ESRI shapefile, coverage, geodatabase.
